WHAT WE LOVE
Variety Coffee was founded in Brooklyn's Williamsburg in 2008. Established by Gavin Compton, the name was inspired by the original coffee shop on Graham Avenue that retained the store's former sign, "Cho's Variety". Since 2008 Variety Coffee has expanded to include three more locations in Brooklyn, Greenpoint, Bushwick, and Parkslope, as well as opening two stores in Manhattan, Chelsea and the Upper East Side. The stand-alone roastery is based in East Williamsburg.
